Cairnhill has a dedicated in-house Drawing Office which works closely with established structural engineers, design houses or direct to the customer, to turn concepts into realities. The company's designers can work from the simplest of 'concept' drawings to design and build the steelwork required. They are equally at home working from detailed Consulting Engineers' drawings.
Cairnhill's specialty is connections. The designers liaise with the customer to come up with the bolted/welded design that works best for the job. This is then manufactured to the company's exacting standards of precision and accuracy, both in relation to the quality of the steel and the engineering involved.
Cairnhill also undertake site surveys and use their staff's vast experience to ensure the connections specified, and other structural elements, meet and exceed industry standards.
Cairnhill have two Xsteel CAD Stations enabling it to provide real time, 3D images of any steel projects undertaken.
This information can then be sent electronically to the factory floor which enables production to start immediately, eliminating costly delays.
A fully qualified structural engineer supervises all Cairnhill's design processes.
