An impressive marine lift for the CV today, with two nicely sized 500-ton and 350-ton cranes being put to the test.
Our project team has been busy planning and organising the lifting plans, before carefully moving our Catamarans into position at our HQ. Over 2000 individual weights have been painted and will be placed inside the base to distribute the load, making sure the ballast is evenly balanced. Foam is finally injected into the compartments to improve buoyancy, before the final encapsulation and painting take place.
Its journey will conclude with a dockside loadout and then will be barged to its final destination.
