Project Details

To enable the site to import and make use of feedstock (ethane) from the North American shale gas fields, a 60 000 cubic metre ethane storage tank is at the Grangemouth site. Together with associated import infrastructure including pipework (~4km) and modifications to the existing jetty this significant project is due to complete in August 2017 and has received support from the Governments in Holyrood and Westminster. Pipework on new high-level steel pipe bridges (~400 Tonnes) by Cairnhill c/w Galvanised finish (Supply & Install).

Total labour on site, incl. all scopes of work = 26 supported by a Project Management and a Fabrication Team

Area 11 (30m bridge over Bo’ness Road x 10.5m overall height), we are currently planning to pre-assemble and fit-out with Pipework, full 30m section (3.3m wide x 3.8m high x 35 Tonnes) and transport as a unit to site for installation with a 500 Tonne Crane before reopening of Bo’ness Road.
