Hinkley Point C is reaching its peak construction phase, with around 8,000 workers on site and another 3,000 expected over the coming year.

So, during the fit-out phase and the next schedule of works, the focus on health and safety has never been more important. Our leadership engagement tours are led by the Tier 2 Health and Safety representatives, and invite all our clients and the site management team to attend our monthly walk rounds. The findings of the site tours are recorded and actioned accordingly, keeping safety front and centre in a bid to prevent incidents and unnecessary accidents.

Involving all parties helps to strengthen, connect, and inspire our teams to work together. This gives us a better understanding of individual team members’ challenges and their safety concerns, allows for constructive feedback, and builds trust through open communication with a shared purpose. And that is to improve workplace safety at every opportunity.
