Replacement Bridge Project in Ukraine

With our latest update, site work in Ukraine is forging ahead with the first of two bridge replacement projects. The original Vishgorod bridge, damaged in the early days of war, is now being reconstructed with modular, fabricated beams which have been manufactured in-house at our Sun Works facility, Coatbridge.

The bridge has long been a vital part of this city’s infrastructure, and the destruction of the original bridge has imposed a significant detour for local residents when travelling to and from Kyiv. Restoring it will reconnect communities, strengthen the region’s infrastructure, and become a symbol of renewal.

Meanwhile, production is underway for the second, larger bridge in Makarov, with both structures being on track for completion this year.
