Draughtsperson

The Need:
Due to expansion of services and client workload an opportunity has arisen for a Draughtsman to join a progressive friendly team. The role offers insight into specialist sub-contracting, manufacturing and delivery of steelwork in specialist sectors, including infrastructure, nuclear, rail, buildings and energy markets. The role is diversified, interesting and part of a larger operational ‘one team delivery’ orientated focus. Project and clients vary, as does the roles needed and type of daily work.
About You:
The successful candidate will form part of the Technical delivery team required to safely deliver a consistent quality product for our customers.
This vacancy will both form part of and supplement the existing Project team, who provide steel solutions to various market sectors and a wide variety of clients. Possibility of hybrid working (given the role)
Core Skills/Experience:
- TEKLA experience essential.
- Experience in delivering projects to the defence, power, oil & gas and nuclear environments.
- Fabrication experience preferred.
- Working in partnership with the Project team.
- Experience of working in association with a fabrication shop.
- Assessing project specifications in order to ensure compliance with our end products.
- Self-Motivated and driven to complete tasks on time and to specification.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to communicate with other non-technical staff.
