Catamarans Buoyancy and Stability Checks

It’s a lovely day for bobbing around in the Clyde. 

Our first batch of completed Catamarans is receiving their buoyancy and stability checks in real time this week. Both wooden and rubber fenders have been installed to protect the units, and once in the water, the individual loads of lead ballast will be craned into position and installed along with the walkway and the handrails.

 Overall testing will ensure the Cat is submerged four meters underwater and leaving only two meters visible above. It’s a thing of beauty and the backdrop is quite stunning.
