Fabstation Technology Investment

We’re excited to share Cairnhill’s recent investment in FABSTATION, a cutting-edge augmented reality (AR) inspection and fabrication solution for our Metrology and Inspection Division.

This technology brings 3D models directly onto the shop floor via tablets and AR devices such as Microsoft HoloLens, transforming how steel manufacturing inspections are carried out. By enabling faster, more accurate quality checks and improved visualisation against design models, Fabstation helps to reduce errors, rework, and inspection time – whilst boosting productivity and capability.

Training is already underway for our team at Cairnhill, ensuring we quickly embed this capability into our inspection processes and that our inspectors are equipped with world-class tools to deliver accuracy, efficiency, and quality on every project.
