Our recent work on the James Watt Dock crane, built by Sir William Arrol & Co in 1917, consisted of new steelwork being measured and fitted to multiple bracings supporting the central columns. Then, renewing the crane housing, which was badly corroded, by providing extensive plate work, all carefully welded on-site.
