Meet The Team Series – January

Continuing our Meet the Team series, we’re delighted to shine the spotlight on a valued member of Cairnhill, known for being supportive, understanding, and a true team player.

Julie joined Cairnhill in 2022 as a receptionist and quickly proved she was made of the right material, stepping up and taking on new challenges. When the opportunity arose to gain on-site experience at Hinkley Point C as a Project Administrator and Document Controller, she embraced it wholeheartedly, forging solid foundations into an exciting new career path. Returning to our Coatbridge site with new skills and confidence, Julie adapted to the new site with clear direction and purpose.

In her role today, Julie plays a key part in keeping systems aligned, managing documentation, and ensuring client and project information is accurately tracked for smooth operations. Although Hinkley Point C remains a standout project for Julie, acting as a key structural element in her development, her current projects, such as DSM Clean Cow, continue to strengthen her skillset for future onsite roles.

Looking ahead, Julie aspires to progress into Project Management, ready to take on greater responsibility and continue building her career within the steelwork industry. Outside work, Julie is an avid gamer, loves a walk with her puggle, and is passionate about all sports, particularly football and the NFL – reflecting her team-first mindset, both in and out of the workplace.
