SFS for new Canaan Lane Primary School

It was a pleasure to be awarded the SFS contract for the new Canaan Lane Primary School.
Working alongside the Morgan Sindall team, our SFS division delivered the framing package for the new Canaan Lane Primary School.
The new primary school is set to open to 420 pupils after the summer, in August 2022.
Plans to introduce a new primary school began in 2015 as the number of children in South Edinburgh primary schools rose to the highest number in 30 years. The City of Edinburgh Council then approved the plans for the new primary and nursery to be built in 2016.
We were contracted to deliver all SFS elements of the project, including the Sheathing board, VCL, insulation, and Brick tie channel.
The completed facility looks fantastic and is a credit to everyone involved in the delivery of the project. This is an excellent addition to South Edinburgh and will make a huge difference to the families in the catchment area.
We now look forward to working with the Morgan Sindall team to deliver the SFS package at Sikeside and Carnbroe Shared Campus.
The project is set to be completed by June 2023 and will provide Coatbridge with a 21st-century community hub.
